Launched in 2026, Competere will be accepting applications for 1:1 mentorship beginning January 21st. In-person events will be announced shortly, and will take place in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax during the spring and summer months.

Competere Mentorship

Competere was born out of a desire to improve women’s participation rates in endurance sport. In its first year of operation, Competere will accept applications from any woman aged 16 plus who is interested in pursuing a goal in endurance sport. No prior experience with cycling is required, and goals need not be competitive - the only requirement is a willingness to grow. Whether you are interested in learning to bike pack, take on your first “big” ride, or reach elite levels of performance, this mentorship program is for you. Mentorship is FREE and will include weekly or biweekly calls where you and Haley will work towards achieving your goal through planning and goal setting. Haley will share the knowledge that she has amassed through her 15-year career of international racing and exploring. Applications open on January 21st and will close on February 4th. Applicants will be chosen based on Haley’s ability to help you work towards your goal and your enthusiasm for chasing your goal.

Haley’s experience with cycling, outdoor sport, and performance is vast. Having spent 15 years competing internationally (including representing Canada at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games) and riding all over the world, Haley knows a thing or two about racing, training, exploring, success, and importantly, navigating failure and setbacks. She combines this wealth of experience with her MSc in Sport Psychology and in-progress PhD in the same discipline, giving her a unique base of knowledge. Haley is passionate about helping women build athletic identities, interest in outdoor sports, and the confidence required to pursue Big Goals. Competere is her way of furthering this mission and she truly hopes that you will join in!
